What’s happening? Well, it’s not clear yet, but we’re all the better for it. When: Now The original Ghostbusters was a timeless classic – a ’90s throwback to the film that left a seismic footprint on the genre, it was a classic story that helped usher in a generation of geniuses, and it’s just plain fun to see how it’s resurrected with Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered. It’s not quite the same as its spiritual sequel, Ghostbusters: The Video Game – which used the same voice actors and largely the same aesthetic, but with a whole slew of improvements. What: Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered Where: PS4, Xbox One, PC When: February 16 If you like incredibly violent horror games, and you prefer to role-play in horror plots, you will want to check out the Paranormal Activity games. Sure, they’re not geared towards children, but there’s something for everyone, and Paranormal Activity has been around for years, going back to the ’80s arcade and beyond. The latest is Paranormal Activity: Ritalin. It’s a reboot, in the same vein as the ’80s classic, but with Ritalin swapped out the time-distorting walls for a more realistic experience. There’s also a new co-op play mode, along with a fresh story and the ability to explore the environments more freely. It’s a little more pricey than the original, but worth it the return for being the most fun horror game we’ve played in years.
