It’s just that the art of it is not as refined as it used to be. It used to be that every selfie was recorded, analyzed and approved by a community that would check out the images on a weekly basis. Now, thanks to the likes of Twitter and Facebook, that has largely been replaced by a more commercial, utilitarian view of posting. Every now and again, however, we have the opposite problem, namely that of self-expression. Self-expression is the ability to be yourself, to be unflinchingly yourself, to be unflinchingly real. It’s what allows you to be yourself, to be unflinchingly real. It’s what allows you to be yourself, to be yourself in a way that allows others to come along and scrutinise you. It’s what allows you to be yourself, to be hyper-realistic in a way that others can’t. It’s what allows you to be yourself without having to compromise your sense of self. Self-expression is what allows you to be yourself The thing is, you can’t really be yourself without a social network. You can’t really be yourself if you can’t find a community that’s willing to be your audience. It’s exactly the same thing with film or television: you can’t really be yourself if you can’t find a medium that suits you. The same goes for game development. The more time and money that you put in, the more complex tools will become available to you. If you’re good at making games, you’ll have found a niche that fits you. You’ll be better than everyone else, and that’s okay. You’ll be talented. But it’s also been the case that the time and money needed to build a social network is so limited that it’s not really a “thing” to be a part of the mainstream. Social networks are getting built up over the years. They’re just not that social. It’s a component of the fabric of life so that’s not a “thing” to be a part of the mainstream. It’s a niche. And it’s a social network. It’s a social network. It’s like there are a bunch of social networks out there, but you have to go to these sort of social functions to actually get a social group. But that’s what makes them a social network. It’s a social network that’s essentially a platform that allows people to socialise and have formalised interactions in the games. If you can build up a group of people to follow you, then you can build a community. The fact that people are joining these social networks is exactly what you’re going to see as a social network. The fact that you can build up a community, and then go to this group, and there’s a social function where you can interact with each other in a way that’s really interesting and different and empowering. We’ve seen that in the way that people’s lives have been defined by their gaming habits. You’ve got your gaming community, you’ve got your competitive community, you’ve got your co-op groups, your local community, the team-based communities. You’ve got these groups, and then you’ve got your political groups, and then you’ve got your LGBT+ groups. You’ve got a huge variety of groups, and so we’re really building up this platform for social groups. It’s the whole idea of having a social network and then allowing people to connect to it, and to connect to each other and play together, is really cool. We’ve seen that in the way that games have come to define who’s who and what’s who, and that’s interesting in a way that it’s not a “thing” to be a part of the mainstream, but rather to be something to be a part of. So the fact that you’re going to find people that are very interested in what it is, and then see them on a social network, I think that’s great. It means you can and should have a social network that makes you feel more connected to everybody. And you can make that more social, so you can be who you are.
